Father Deacon Robert was born and raised here on Long Island, and is the oldest of four boys.  He lived in Uniondale until the age of 10, then his family relocated to St. James.  Deacon Robert was raised as a member of the Roman Catholic church. 

He was introduced to the Byzantine Catholic faith by his girlfriend and future wife Lisa, and felt spiritually at home here. Fr Deacon Robert has been an active member of the Resurrection parish for 40 years. He has been  catechist and teen group moderator for over 20 years. He and Lisa have three children and two grandchildren. 

Fr Deacon Robert entered Deaconal formation in 2015, and was ordained to the Deaconate by Bishop Kurt Burnette on January 25th 2020.
